The Camp Collective

​When I was chosen to model for The Camp Collective Rockies 2017 edition at Baker Creek Mountain Resort, I had to pinch myself. You mean I get to spend the afternoon with a group of talented photographers in the Rocky Mountains? Ok! 

​​Fellow models Celeste and Dana accompanied me on our road trip west towards Lake Louise, where we joined the fourth model, Mikayla. Once we arrived at the beautiful mountain lodge, we were greeted by photographers Cole Hofstra and Emilie Iggiotti.

​The afternoon began with a challenge - telling a story through photography using a quote from a book. Cole immediately took three of us into the forest and began creating multiple exposure shots. We were joined by a curious coyote, who briefly observed us before disappearing once again. 

Next up, groups of photographers took the models into the forest and practised portrait techniques.

​The evening was concluded with some colourful smoke bombs beside the river, and the chill of the evening air began to set in. 

I stayed overnight in Banff and awoke to a beautiful sunrise, making the mountains glow!
